LAWN CARE

Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly & Bi-Weekly Mowing

Even cut on a schedule that works for the season — sharp blades, clean edges, walks blown clear before I leave.

Phoenix lawns ride a different schedule than the rest of the country — weekly through monsoon, every other week once the heat backs off. I cut at the right height for your grass type (Bermuda short and tight, winter rye a hair taller), edge every visit, and never leave clippings on the patio.

  • Tree & Bush Trimming

Mesquites, palo verdes, oleanders, citrus, sago palms — shaped right and cleaned up the same day.

Phoenix landscaping is mostly trees and shrubs, not lawn — and most of them get trimmed wrong. I shape mesquites and palo verdes to the natural canopy (no topping), keep oleander and Texas sage tight without scalping, skirt sago palms safely, and haul every cutting off the property the same day.

  • Stump & Yard Removal

Dead-stump grinding, overgrown-yard reset, rental turn-overs — back to a clean slate fast.

Dead stumps ground out below grade. Foreclosure / rental / move-out yards reset to bare dirt or fresh gravel. Construction and storm debris hauled. I bring my own truck and trailer — no extra dump fees passed to you.

  • Drip & Sprinkler Repair

Broken emitters, busted PVC, dead valves, controller you can’t figure out — I fix the system, then walk it with you.

Most Phoenix yards run drip on a Hunter or Rain Bird controller, and most of them have at least one zone that hasn’t worked in months. I trace every line, replace cracked emitters and broken risers, swap dead solenoids, and reprogram the timer for your trees vs your turf vs your pots — different schedules, different runtimes.

  • Gravel & Decomposed Granite

Fresh DG, river rock, or 1/2" screen — graded, weed-fabric’d, and edged so it stays where you put it.

Phoenix front yards are gravel more often than grass. I top up faded DG, replace tired weed fabric, re-grade washed-out areas after monsoon, and set crisp decomposed-granite edges against driveways and walkways so the yard reads sharp from the street.

  • Citrus & Garden Bed Care

Citrus thinning, rose pruning, vegetable-bed turnover, mulch refresh — done at the right time of year.

Citrus gets pruned in late winter, roses in mid-January, vegetable beds turned over twice a year. Mulch only where it makes sense in this climate (around citrus and rose, not over gravel beds). I do the timing right so you get the harvest and the bloom, not just the cleanup.

  • Monsoon Storm Cleanup

Downed mesquite limbs, blown-over palo verde, palm fronds across the yard — same-week cleanup after a haboob.

After the August storms, half my customers wake up to a mesquite limb on the truck or a palo verde on the back fence. I’m on the call list — same-week chainsaw, haul-off, and a check of the rest of the canopy so the next one doesn’t come down.

  • Handyman & Odd Jobs

Fence-board swaps, gate latches, gravel re-grading, sprinkler-box cleanout — the small stuff that adds up.

If you already trust me with the yard, you can hand me the small list — replace the broken fence picket, reset the gate, fix the leaky hose bib, clear the sprinkler valve box, secure a wobbly mailbox. Solo operator means one person on the property, doing the work, no surprise upcharges.

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
